Privacy policy

1. Scope
This policy explains data handling in the AZ Tuber app and its developer and video-sharing website. Third-party services have their own policies.
2. On-device data
The app stores settings, watch and search history, playlists, notifications and caches on your device. Turn recording off or clear history in Settings → Manage all history. Files in shared storage may remain after uninstalling.
3. Accounts and permissions
Google sign-in is optional. Profile information such as your name, email, avatar and account identifier is used to display your account and distinguish libraries. Online library actions use permissions you grant. AZ Tuber does not collect your Google password through a separate AZ form. Revoke access through your Google Account connections.
4. AZ Tuber account sign-in
Optional AZ Tuber accounts use a username and password, separately from Google. Our server stores your account ID, username, a salted password hash, VIP entitlement and hashed session tokens to authenticate you and provide account features. Passwords are transmitted over HTTPS and are not stored in plain text. Sessions expire after 30 days or are revoked when you sign out. Account records remain until deletion. A hashed IP address and short-lived attempt counter help prevent sign-in abuse; expired counters are removed during subsequent login requests. Infrastructure may keep operational security logs. Delete the account and its sessions from Account → Delete AZ Tuber account, or contact support to request deletion.
5. Content and subtitles
Search, playback, thumbnails and subtitles involve requests to content providers, which receive your IP address and request data. Subtitle translation may process subtitle text through the method or service used by that feature. Do not submit sensitive information for translation.
6. Advertising and privacy choices
The app uses Google AdMob. Google may process IP addresses, device data, advertising identifiers, interactions and diagnostics for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. Regional consent and privacy choices apply. Revisit available privacy choices in the app and manage your advertising identifier in Android settings. Ad removal applies to AZ Tuber advertising as described by the product.
7. Payments
In-app purchases, when available, are processed by Google Play. Purchase status is used to determine entitlements. AZ Tuber does not receive your full payment card number. Google Play manages transaction records, payment methods and refunds under its policies.
8. Website, embedded videos and sharing
Serving the website involves network requests, including IP addresses and browser information that hosting infrastructure may log for operations and security. No separate marketing analytics code is currently installed. Thumbnails load from YouTube. The YouTube player loads only after you press play, after which Google processes data under its policies. Shared links contain a public video ID, not your AZ account or viewing history.
9. Android permissions and feedback
Media, notification and overlay permissions enable their respective features and can be managed in Android settings. Selected feedback and images are sent only when you choose to share them through another app; recipients apply their own policies.
10. Retention, deletion and your rights
Local data remains until you delete it, remove the relevant content or uninstall under Android’s behavior. Shared-storage files and Google-held data are managed separately. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights of access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction and complaint to a data-protection authority. See Manage & delete data for available controls.
11. Children and updates
AZ Tuber is not designed specifically for children. Anyone below the local age of consent should use it with a parent or guardian. This policy may change when features or data practices change; the revision date is shown above.
